Color Inspiration: Persimmon

03.12.12

Persimmon is a warm, slightly desaturated orange and reminds me of spices and musk. Combining it with white, and sometimes touches of black, creates a classic and clean look that lets this color really stand out. Paired with neutrals like brown, tan or ivory, persimmon looks woodsy and inviting. Unless you’re going for a Halloween effect, replace lots of black with a warm gray. It’s a nice modern way to let persimmon pop.
